Shorewest Home Service Center Customers receive a 15% discount on all labor, service, and installation charges when you have work done at your new property. This discount applies during our normal business hours Monday thru Friday, and is not applicable for in shop service. Products, parts, keys, and other materials are not included in this discount.
What does it mean to rekey locks? The rekeying of locks involves the removal of lock cylinders from the locks, disassembly of the cylinder, removal and replacement of lock pins and springs to match a new key combination cut different than the existing keys that currently operate the locks on the home.
What does a typical rekey only job cost? A typical rekey job includes a service call (depending on location of home), charges per cylinder for rekeying, and charges for keys. Rekeying of cylinders is $15.00 per cylinder. (a cylinder is any part of the lock where you can insert a key.) Standard keys are $1.70 per key.
